Tja, den var väl ok. Tror lite att alla lovord gjort att man förväntade sig en superfilm. Men den var ungefär som boken. Väldigt seg i början och sedan kommer ketchup-effekten. Allt på en gång.
Klart sevärd dock. Tim Burton lyckas nästan hela tiden och Johnny Depp gör en bra och konstig Willy Wonka.
Under en konferens för annonsörer i Phoenix (Arizona, USA) berättade Googles VD Eric Schmidt att det skall finnas ungefär fem miljoner terabyte information på nätet, av dessa har Google indexerat 170 terabyte.
Man har beräknat hastigheten som Google indexerar, och om ingen under de kommande 300 åren lägger ut någon ny information på Internet kommer Google alltså ha hunnit ifatt.

Då har man köpt lite grejer. Första gången jag använt Tradera. Jag köpte minnen och grafikkort till min HTPC. Det blev ett 512 Mb, PC2700 DDR 333 Mhz CL 2.5 184 Pin och en Sapphire ATI Radeon 9250 128Mb DDR, AGP8X.
Skaffade mig även en DVD-brännare. En svart NEC ND-2500A, som pappa letade reda på i sina lådor. Tack papsen!

Gigabyte har visat sig accelerera utvecklingstakten när det gäller tekniskt sofistikerad hårdvara. De har släppt produkter så som English Pentium 4-moderkort med stöd för PCI-X, ett English moderkort med dubbel grafik som stöder SLI men är ändå baserat på Intels styrkrets, och så klart dess populära grafikkortsfamilj 3D1 som för nuvarande stöder antingen två 6600 GT- eller 6800 GT-kretsar på ett grafikkort. Även om det här inte direkt hjälper till att reducera den totala kostnaden för en SLI-lösning, är det definitivt den bättre lösningen.
Bungie, developer of the Halo game series, announced that Peter Jackson – knows as the producer behind The Lord of the Rings, will be acting as executive producer of the upcoming Halo movie. There are few details known about the project so far. At this time, Universal pictures only released the name the script writer (Alex Garland, “The Beach”).
Halo is one of the most successful games in the history of video games, selling far more than five million copies and raking in revenues in excess of $250 million.

Konstigt att när man ser två dåliga filmer på rad, så blir helt plötsligt den ene bra. Har läst en diskussion på dvdforum.nu att Uwe Boll kan vara världens sämsta regissör. Trodde då denna skulle suga massor. Men efter Dead Birds var den ok, om det inte vore för vissa tillfällen som känns som TV-spelssekvenser. Annars en ok actionrulle.
In Civil War America, a band of confederate outlaws take refuge in an abandoned plantation. Led by William (Henry Thomas), they plan to rob a bank that is temporarily storing a cache of Confederate gold. Att se skräckfilm i Dolby Digital 5.1 gör att även den sämsta filmen kan bli spännande. Hade det inte varit för slutet i denna filmen hade den någ fått en 1:a. Men nu är det närmare 2.5. Rekommenderas verkligen till Pär och Katrin.
