Based upon JJ Connelly’s London crime novel, “LAYER CAKE” is about a successful cocaine dealer (DANIEL CRAIG) who has earned a respected place among England’s Mafia elite and plans an early retirement from the business. However, big boss Jimmy Price hands down a tough assignment: find Charlotte Ryder, the missing rich princess daughter of Jimmy’s old pal Edward, a powerful construction business player and gossip papers socialite. Complicating matters are two million pounds’ worth of Grade A ecstasy, a brutal neo-Nazi sect and a whole series of double crossings. The title “LAYER CAKE” refers to the layers or levels the dealer has to go through as he painstakingly plots his own escape. What is revealed is a modern underworld where the rules have changed. There are no ‘codes’, or ‘families’ and respect lasts as long as a line. Not knowing who he can trust, he has to use all his ‘savvy’, ‘telling’ and skills which make him one of the best, to escape his own. The ultimate last job, a love interest called Tammy and an international drugs ring, threaten to draw him back into the ‘cake mix’. But, time is running out and the penalty will endure a lifetime..

Här får man för att man förväntar sig för mcyket av en film. Trodde verkligen detta skulle vara en toppen film. Javvist, den är inte dålig. Men den tillför inget speciellt heller. Den har en rolig och spännande manu, precis som en sådanhär film ska ha. Men någonstans mellan manus och film tappar den något. Vet inte om det beror på regissören, eller vad det är.

After the continuous sleep walking episodes of Sharon, the young daughter of Rose Da Silva, the decision is made to take Sharon to the place only mentioned in her restless dreams- Silent Hill. However, the road to Silent Hill is anything but easy to access, and Rose creates a high speed chase between herself and a police officer only to end in a crash for them both. When she wakes up, Sharon has disappeared and Rose is at the entrance to the deserted, dream-like town of Silent Hill. As Rose begins the search for her daughter, she does not realize the terror and mystery surrounding her. Rose is led on a blind search for her beloved daughter, finding herself getting more and more entwined into disturbing past of Silent Hill.

Jag har för mig att jag börjat testa ett av spelen i serien, men gav upp då det var för mysko för min del. Gillade de tidigare filmer jag sett av Christophe Gans (Crying Freeman och Le Pacte des loups). Även denna filmen är snyggt gjord. Men troligtvis måste man ha spelat spelen för att verkligen uppskatta denna filmen. Även om man mot slutet får en viss förklaring så hänger man ändå inte med på allt som händer. Sedan är filmen lite väl lång. En svag trea bilr det.

Förväntade mig en riktigt dålig uppföljare, men blev i det avseendete prositivt överaskad. Visst den håller inte samma klass som de två första. Denna har sämre skådespelarinsatser och special effekter. Men är dock en ritkigt sevärd uppföljare om man gillade de andra två.

When the gang leaded by the criminal Bill Cox (Paul Bettany) invades his house, they force Jack to transfer a hundred million dollars to a bank account in Cayman Islands as ransom for his family. When Bill does not release his family, Jack tries to save them by his own.

Förr klassade jag Harrison Ford som en av mina absoluta favoritskådisar. Man han har tappat mycket på senare år. Paul Bettany är också en skådespelare som jag tycker verkligen är på väg uppåt (Han är riktigt bra i A Knights Tale, Dogville och The Da Vinci Code). Då borde väl detta vara en superb film, eller? Neah, den är ganska medioker. Den börjar bra och är riktigt underhållande, fram tills då Harrison tydligen får något spel. Då faller tyvärr filmen. Hade dom ordnat en bättre avslutning så hade denna kanske lyckats krypa upp mot en 4:a, men nu landar det på en 3:a.

Cindy Campbell moves in next to Tom Ryan because she’s taking care of an old lady. She finds out the house is haunted by a little boy and goes on a quest in the village to find out who killed him and why. Also, Alien “Tr-iPods” are invading the world and Cindy has to uncover the secret in order to stop them

*gäääsp* Vilket sömnpiller. Det som är roligt i filmen har man redan sett, i trailern! Denna filmen visar verklien på att uppföljare oftast blir sämre ju fler de blir.

The story takes us through Frankie’s life from one of the best DJ’s alive, through subsequent battle with a hearing disorder, culminating in his mysterious disappearance from the scene. A genius in his own right, he clawed his way to the top of the DJ ranks, now living the opulent life of a superstar, he resides in his trophy villa in Ibiza with his trophy wife. This is when tragedy hits. Born with a hearing disorder he is rapidly going deaf with only one functioning ear to complete the new Ibiza season. How is he doing behind the decks? Horrible. How is he doing in the studio where he produces his remixes? Frankie dives into a low period, struggling with deafness in utter depression. After a year of locking himself away he emerges on the other side with a fresh attitude towards his affliction. He accepts his deafness and learns to function without sound. Will Frankie make it back to the DJ booth? Will his new single be any good? Will he get back his opulent old life or does he even want it back? When you can’t hear, things look very different.

Tragekomisk film kring den åkomma som många DJ:s får, hörselproblem. Bara i denna filmen går det så långt att han faktiskt blir döv. Många roliga scener som lättar upp denna film som egentligen är ganska tragisk. Kring hur en människa verkligen kan hamna på botten. Men ha tar sig därifrån. Roligt att den är filmad som en dokumentär i vissa delar och att de intervjuar kända DJ:s king Frank Wildes liv. Självklart härlig musik i filmen. Den är inte riktigt lika bra som Groove.

Their descendants – a horrible, hideous band of mutated sub-humans – has survived to the present day. Just over a half-century later, an all-American family looking for a shortcut to California for a holiday is directed down a back road that is quite literally a dead end. When their vehicle’s tires blow, what seems like an unfortunate accident becomes a horrifying nightmare – it was actually a trap! One at a time, these horrible sub-humans emerge from their hiding places to torture & kill the family. However, some of them – and their pets – strike back at their tormentors, and only one group will survive…

Jag hade för mig att jag sett “orginalet“, alltså filmen som denna är en remake av och det hade jag. Tycker orginalet är snäppet bättre. Men det verkar som det just nu är en marknad för filmer som handlar om turister som försvinner när de turistar. Filmen bygger upp en bra stämning, det tar en bra stund innan något verkligen händer och då händer det verkligen grejer. Den har precis den mängd av gore som jag tycker gör filmen mera verklig, den spårar inte ur på den avdelningen som Hostel gör. Man sitter på nålar genom större delen av filmen och man vet inte riktigt vad som ska ske härnäst.

Diego, Manny and Sid return in this sequel to the hit Ice Age. This time around the Ice Age is over and is starting to melt, which will destroy their valley. So they must unite and warn everyone about the situation.

Ännu en uppföljare som inte når upp till samma kvalitet som den första filmen. Den första är helt underbar och håller genom hela filmen. Denna guppar lite upp och ner. Men det är för den delen inte en dålig film. Den är mycket sevärd. Jag älskar Sid och Skrat. Även de nya pungråttorna är underbart roliga.
