John and Jeremy, single in their mid-30s, mediate divorces in D.C.; their summer social life consists of crashing weddings (always with a back story) to meet young women for a one-night stand. As John thinks about growing up, Jeremy convinces him to go to one more, for the daughter of the Treasury Secretary. Each catches the eye of a daughter of the host. Jeremy scores with Gloria, who proves to be a psycho clinger; John wants real romance with Claire, but she has a boyfriend, a privileged hound. Can John convince Jeremy to stick around long enough so he can woo Claire, and can he tell her the truth about himself before she finds out from someone else? What if he messes up?

Tycker denna var ganska medioker. Har svårt när folk använder konstiga situationer för egen vinning. Men filmen blir roligare efter en stund. Men både Vince Vaughn och Owen Wilson har gjort bättre filmer. Christopher Walken storspelar som vanligt 🙂

Internationally famous oceanographer Steve Zissou and his crew–Team Zissou–set sail on an expedition to hunt down the mysterious, elusive, possibly non-existant Jaguar Shark that killed Zissou’s partner during the documentary filming of their latest adventure. They are joined on their voyage by a young airline co-pilot who may or may not be Zissou’s son, a beautiful journalist assigned to write a profile of Zissou, and Zissou’s estranged wife and co-producer, Eleanor. They face overwhelming complications including pirates, kidnapping, and bankruptcy.

Så underbart…… konstig film. Jag vet inte riktigt vad jag ska tycka om den. Den äv väldigt segstartad, men när den kommer igång så fullständigt överöses man av sarkasmkomedi far att i nästa ögonblick bli allvarlig coh sedan göra tvära kast mellan tragedi och komedi. Konstig film, men oj så sevärd. Willem Dafoe gör en underbar roll som Klaus, filmen är nästan värs att se bara för honom 🙂

She thinks it is perfect until everything goes downhill for them, based on Nick Hornby’s novel “Fever Pitch”

Jahopp, samma gamla vanliga recept. Kille möter tjej. Allt är bra. Det blir slitningar i förhållandet. Dom gör slut och sedan blir dom ihop i slutet av filmen och alla lever lyckliga i alla sina dagar. Ja, en riktig feel-good-movie. Inget bra, inget dåligt. Sevärt med en flickvän.

Set in the 1930s, this is the story of a young and beautiful actress Ann Darrow from the world of vaudeville who finds herself lost in depression-era New York and her luck changes when she meets an over-ambitious filmmaker Carl Denham who brings her on an exploratory expedition to a remote island where she finds compassion and the true meaning of humanity with an ape Kong. The beauty and the beast finally meet their fate back in the city of New York where the filmmaker takes and displays the ape in quest of his fame by commercial exploitation which ultimately leads to catastrophe for everyone including a playwright Jack Driscoll who falls in love with Ann and plays an unlikely hero by trying to save her from Kong and her destiny.

Efter en lite seg början kommer filmen igång. Efter nästan 1timme så drar den verkliga actionen igång. Det är i detta tillfälle som jag nu i efterhand tycker de borde varit generösare med saxen. För när filmen väl var inne på slutspurten, då hade jag träsmak.
Men detta är ändå en storslagen film. Det är en superbra remake. Inte som alla andra remakes som kommit ut de senaste ården. Fotot är snyggt, det är härliga färger i filmen och slutfighten på Empire State building är musten ur en.

Jigsaw locks 8 or 9 unlucky people in a booby trapped shelter and they must find a way out before they inhale too much of a lethal nerve gas and die. But they must watch out, for the traps that the Jigsaw has set in the shelter lead to death also.

Neah. Inte riktigt lika bra som 1:an. Tycker inte denna fångade in tittaren lika bra. Under den första filmen satt jag på nålar och bara väntade på upplösningen av filmen. Denna gång var det kanske lite svårare att lista ut “mördaren”. Hade det inte varit för slutet så hade det varit lägre betyg på denna.

Professional driver Frank Martin is living in Miami, where he is temporarily filling in for a friend as the chauffeur for a government narcotics control policymaker and his family. The young boy in the family is targeted for kidnapping, and Frank immediately becomes involved in protecting the child and exposing the kidnappers.

Wohooo. Ja, tar man inte denna filmen för mer än vad den är så är den bra. Detta är en riktigt popcornrulle. En massa osanrolik action. Men oj så underhållande 🙂
Inte riktigt lika bra som 1:an, men Jason Statham är ju alltid bra.

A young girl (Jennifer Carpenter) dies under the care of her parish priest (Tom Wilkinson). While attending college, Emily believed she became possessed. After medical care ceases to work, she turned to her faith. In the care of her priest she dies and he goes on trial for her death. He is represented by a career-minded and driven lawyer (Laura Linney) who does not believe in God. Thus is the story of Emily Rose, told by those in the trial and the priest who watched her through her possession.

Det var inte riktigt denna typ av film jag förväntade mig efter att ha sett trailers för den. Trodde det skulle vara en modern Exorcisten, men det var det inte. Den var mera lik The Life of David Gale. Filmen utspelar sig efter exorsismen av Emily Rose. Under rättegången mot prästen som utförde exorsismen. Rättegången innehåller då tillbakablickar på vad det var som hände.
Mycket underhållande film.

Cousins Bo (Seann William Scott) and Luke (Johnny Knoxville) Duke, with the assistance of their sexy cousin Daisy (Jessica Simpson) and Uncle Jesse (Willie Nelson), must save the Duke family farm from destruction by the town’s corrupt and evil commissioner Boss Hogg (Burt Reynolds). Their efforts constantly find the “Duke Boys” eluding authorities in “The General Lee”, the boys’ orange 1969 Dodge Charger that keeps them one step ahead of the dimwitted antics of the small southern town’s Sheriff Roscoe P. Coltrane (M.C. Gainey).

Underhållande. Men det är väl allt. Konstigt nog skulle jag nog klara av att se en 2:a av denna filmen. Inget speciellt del på skådespelarna, Jessica Simpson passar bra för att spela dum blondin 🙂
Det är mest manuset som känns väldigt tunnt.

The action-adventure tale revolving around the legendary German brothers Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm is set to start shooting around Prague in June. Written by The Ring scribe Ehren Kruger, the fictional plot has the folklore collectors, now called Jake and Will, traveling from village to village pretending to protect townsfolk from enchanted creatures and pulling off exorcisms. They are put to the test when they encounter a real magical curse, requiring genuine courage.

Hade nog hoppats på en lite bättre film. Trailern fick mig väl att kanske önska mera. Den var underhållande, men inte mera. Tråkigt på Terry Gilliam som brukar göra så speciella filmer. Detta är bara en normal äventyrsfilm.

Victor (Johnny Depp) messed up his vows during a wedding rehearsal, and is traveling through the woods, reciting his vows. He stops to rest in the woods,and while practicing, he gets them right and puts his wedding ring on a finger-shaped stick in the ground and says his wedding vows. The stick turns out to be a rotted finger belonging to a murdered girl (Helena Bonham-Carter), who returns as a zombie and insists that she is now Victor’s lawfully wedded wife.

En härlig film i samma anda som The Nightmare Before Christmas men inte riktigt lika bra, inte riktigt samma humor. Men verkligen sevärd då hela filmen är leranimationer.
