Since childhood, Benjamin Franklin Gates has known that he is decended from a long line of people whose job is to guard a treasure hidden by the Founding Fathers, who hid clues to its whereabouts in the country’s currency and on the back of the Declaration of Independence. Now, he has learned of a plot to steal the Declaration, and has only one option: steal it himself. Even if he pulls off this monumental task, keeping the treasure safe is still going to be incredibly hard, especially since the FBI has also gotten wind of the scheme.

Bättre än jag förväntade mig när jag såg den första gången. Lovorden var ju liknande en ny Indiana Jones film. Den når inte riktigt upp till den nivån. Men den är mycket bra och det är kul med problemlösning för att hitta ledtrådar som för filmen framåt.

When Cole, a convict volunteer, is sent back in time to find information on a deadly virus that will destroy 5,000,000,000 members of the human race in 1996-1997, he mistakenly arrives in 1990. After explaining his plea to Dr. Kathryn Railly, he is placed in a mental institution. In 1996, he kidnaps Railly, using her to find the 12 Monkeys, a group of revolutionists that are planning to release the virus into select cities. But, he is wanted by the authorities for murder and kidnapping, plus he refuses to return to the future; he is in love with Railly.

Underbar film. Som vanligt en film som börjar som den slutar. Jag är mycket svag för sådana filmer. Sedan gillar jag filmer med tidsresor och som är allmänt flummiga. I denna får jag allt 🙂
Att sedan skådespelarna är superbra gör ju inte filmen sämre.

200 years after the conclusion of Alien 3, the company is able to resurrect Ripley (Sigourney Weaver) through the process of cloning and the scientists successfully take the Queen Alien out of her. But, Ripley’s DNA gets mixed up with the Queen’s and she begins to develop certain alien characteristics. The scientists begin breeding the aliens, but they later escape. Soon the Xeno-morphs are running amok on the ship, which is on course to earth. The Queen then gives birth to a deadly new breed of alien, which could spell disaster for the entire human race. It’s up to Ripley and a band of space pirates to stop the ship before it reaches earth.

Tycker denna är den svagaste av de 4:a. Mycket bra början och filmen är mycket underhållande, fram till slutet. Fick Joss Whedon hjärnsläpp på slutet, eller orkade han bara inte avsluta manuset? Synd på en så bra popcornrulle.

Despite the efforts of Ripley and the space marines in the film Aliens, an embryonic alien infiltrates the starship. It accidentally triggers the ship’s emergency systems, dropping the escape capsule to the surface of a nearby planet. Ripley finds herself in a prison colony peopled by a religious cult composed of former murderers and rapists. Meanwhile, the alien has managed to grow into a new and deadly form, and is picking off the weaponless prisoners. Ripley soon discovers, much to her horror, that the real danger is much more personal…

Tyckte inte alls om denna när jag i mina yngre dar verkligen gillade actionrullar. Tyckte den förstörde 1:an och 2:an. Nu när jag på senare år blivit mera intresserad av hantverket bakom filmskapandet har den blivit bättre i mina ögon. David Fincher gör en värdig uppföljare med ett mycket vakert foto.

King Baldwin’s vision of peace–a kingdom of heaven–is shared by a handful of knights, including Godfrey of Ibelin, who swear to uphold it with their lives and honor. As Godfrey passes his sword to his son, he also passes on that sacred oath: to protect the helpless, safeguard the peace, and work toward harmony between religions and cultures, so that a kingdom of heaven can flourish on earth. Balian takes the sword and steps into history.

Ahhhh, ytterliggare en Ridley Scott film 🙂 Man kanske skulle fortsätta med ännu en imorgon. Får nog inte Tea att se Alien, men kanske kan få henne att titta på Blade Runner. Hmmm, när man nämner han gamla filmer känns denna lite blek. Men den var inte alls dum. Första timmen gick jättefort. Sedan gick det lite segare. Men vilket foto! Inte lika bra musik som i Gladiator. Tror det kan bero på sämre skådisar och inte lika bra musik.
